Application

who is Eligible?

Eligible are excellent doctorate students of all participating institutes, who do research in the field of private law with tangencies to EU Law. Private law is understood in a very broad sense here, covering such fields as company law, private international and procedural law, and competition law.

The PEPP round 2026/2027 will again comprise four week-long intensive courses which will take place in

There will be 24 participating doctorate students, coming from the named universities, as well as from Hamburg, Katowice and Cracow, Cambridge, Valencia and Zagreb.

Free accommodation will be granted. PEPP tries to provide accommodation from Sunday through Saturday. Since there may be changes, please always wait for confirmation before booking your flights.

The deadline for applications is the 15th June 2026 (PEPP Round 2026/2027).

  • The certificate for your law degree
  • A recommendation from your doctoral thesis supervisor
  • Your curriculum vitae
  • A certificate, or other relevant proof, of your English language skills
  • A short statement in English detailing your motivation in applying for PEPP
